Embodied Moments NYC

Original Story

It all began in the summer of 2022, when I wanted to have a special dress made for the opening of my first solo street photography exhibition, Memories of My Island, in my home country, Malta. An idea came to mind — to design a dress inspired by one of the photographs I was exhibiting. I asked a local designer to print the fabric and create the dress, and voilà — my opening night became as memorable as the exhibition itself.

Three years later, that spontaneous idea evolved into Embodied Moments NYC — a seven-piece couture collection transforming moments I captured in my home city, New York, into wearable art.
